God is what you are made of
Sayloe – I was reflecting the other day and it came to me that I don’t think god wants to be worshipped. If you think of a great teacher or father they want to teach their son or student how to be great, how to be compassionate, how to be forgiving, loving, strong and all the qualities that would make one happy and successful. Although I do think reverence for god and saying thanks is different. Can you elaborate on this. Thank you.
Dearest one, what a wonderful mind you have, to stand outside the understanding, to look at it from all directions. To understand that there is a concept of what God is. There is a picture in many people’s minds that this being itself is created in the image of man–or is man created in the image of God?Which is it?
While you’ve made him created in the image of man, you made him a him. God the energy, the all-knowing, the love, the groove between the sounds, the fire in the heart. God is what you are made of–that energy, that light, that spark of wonder that holds you deep with learning to grow. It has the power to magnify and decrease. You do not have that power. If you were to try to decrease, an attempt of staying in one place to a point of non-growth, you simply cannot do it.
Honour what YOU have; pay homage to this amazing energy. The fact that you live, think and walk, pay homage to this. The ideas of worship and hommage: these are all theories and understandings created by man in order to understand an energy, a power that was known and yet they could not find a clear concept. They simply made many rules and regulations. It is alright. Do not fear religions. They are a good place for many to learn–not only for their own being, but others. These are places where many learn about judgment. These are places where many learn about love. They are good, they are bad, they are places of leaning.
As to understanding about God, look beyond worship. When you feel your whole body tingling with the sheer joy of being, you are one with God. When you see a blessed child coming into the light filled with joy, you know God.
The delicate wings of a butterfly, an amazing fluke of a whale, God in all forms is perfection. And, you my child are perfection, in a school room of learning. Thank you for seeking and asking. Not all of God can be understood by the physical mind, the conscious understanding. That is why many would call it an element of faith. It is an element of trust. As you trust in that next breath, God is there.
This is one of the most powerful responses to date. Thank you!
I cant wait to communicate with spirit! I am asking for your help. How can I fine tune?
