I’m finding the air is thick with words and opinions, dos and don’ts, and quotes from every wise or not-so-wise being. Meanderings from people that I have to wonder if they really know what they are talking about. Or is it just stuff from their overburdened brains?

Today I step away, turning off all electronics.

I’m sitting in my room just trying to be. I hear, “Rest, open your heart, open your hands. Love those who speak in an attempt to understand. Listen to their hearts, trying to find peace. Thank them for their words. You don’t have to have the answer.”

I don’t, but I do have love.
